- #Relocating Waves
-
- Muzys cannot find a certain wave because it has been
- renamed, moved, or maybe deleted.
-
- Now it is up to you to find that wave, so by choosing
- 'Locate' you can tell Muzys where to find it.
- #-----------------------------------------------------------
- #Grafics Speed
-
- If you find your Grafical User Interface too slow, that may be
- caused by a too slow computer and/or heavy realtime audio demands.
-
- In this case, you may disable some of Muzys' grafical luxury,
- such as
-
- * Shadowing : draws a smooth shadow around the windows
-
- * Grayout Disableds : when working with a modal=exclusive window,
- Muzys grays out everything else, so it looks obvious where to be
-
- These settings can be controlled via SystemMenu:Grafical Preferences.
- #-----------------------------------------------------------
- #Windows High Priority
-
- Since Windows, and especially Windows 95, suffers from timing instabilities,
- Muzys can put itself in a so called "High Priority Mode", so that all
- realtime activities like MIDI handling and audio creation are done in time.
-
- But the drawback of that is that you cannot work together with other applications.
- They all seem to be frozen.
-
- On Win95, High Priority is enabled by default.
- On Win98 or later, Muzys defaults to normal priority.
-
- If you want Muzys to be cooperative, goto System menu:Technical Preferences
- and put "Realtime Priority" to normal.
-
- This way, you are able to Alt-Tab between applications !
-
- But because of the lower priority, you may also need to increase your
- audio latency (System menu:Audio Hardware); But that depends on your system.
